If your holiday chocolate has finally dried up and you’re feeling the winter blues then head over to The Winter Chocolate Show on Saturday, the 1st of February.
Back for a second year, the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse will be hosting an array of chocolate experts and enthusiasts from all over Canada and beyond and bursting to the seams with craft chocolate.
Whether you’re there to stock up on your stash, buy a valentines day gift, enjoy a seminar or for the samples (we all do it), they have you covered. The full-day programme kicks off at 10.30 am with The Science Behind Tempering with Fernanda Peyronel, a Senior Technical Researcher in Food Science at Guelph University. You can check out the complete list of speakers here. Issues of Cacao Magazine will be stocked with Paola, the event co-organizer and owner of The Candy Bar Toronto, along with Erik at DesBarres chocolate.
Their promise for the event is “a day filled with informative seminars, delicious bean to bar chocolate, innovative bars and bonbons, and a lot of passionate chocolate people”, and we can’t think of a day better spent. Learn more and purchase your tickets at The Winter Chocolate Show or on Eventbrite.
Delicious goody bags will be given to the first 25 at the door, so be there in advance of 10 am doors opening to grab one, or head over anytime before 5 pm closing.
